Film Fu is heading for the big screen! As part of Film Fu's continuing philanthropic initiative, created by award-winning feature film director, fight choreographer and stunt performer Kirk Caouette, we present to you Vancouver's inaugural «Film Fu Fight Fest»!
FFFF will present a series of short films that feature predominately fighting created by members of Vancouver's stunt community. It'll be a fast and furious evening filled with punches, kicks, falls and flips that cater to your inner action hero. A Q&A with the film creators will follow the screenings. Complete with The Rio's fully stocked bar, it will also be a great opportunity to connect with some of the stunt industry elite.
Tickets are $15 each ($20 at the door) and are be available for purchase if you click the 'Buy Tickets' on this page. Doors open at 6pm with the show starting at 6:30pm. All proceeds will go to The Water Underground Project, a non-profit organization providing access to clean and safe drinking water to rural communities in developing nations (waterundergroundproject.org). We will also be holding raffle draws throughout the event for some amazing prizes that have been donated to us by local businesses. There will also be an after-party at the MIA night club (350 Water St, Vancouver) in Gastown from 9:30pm-1:00am. If you wish to submit a short film, see below.
