Devoted to breaking new ground on the marimba Robin Layne has studied music around the globe and his music is inspired by these adventures in rhythm and melody. The band will be recording their debut album in the fall of 2017 and in their first summer of touring last year they appeared at the Vancouver Jazz Festival, Winteruption Festival, Carnaval del Sol and Blessed Coast. With roots in jazz, Latin and African traditions this groove heavy ensemble delivers music that will uplift your spirit, put a smile on your face and take your ears on a journey into the stratosphere.
