On a trip to LA, he discovered artist Post Malone and began developing his sound. White Iverson took off as a viral hit and gained over 1 million plays on Soundcloud within 1 month, leading to a major label bidding war for Post and signing a record deal with Universal Republic.
In 2015 FKi 1st also began rising in the club and festival scene. He played at Trap City in San Francisco, as well as multiple other DJ sets in LA and Toronto like Low End Theory, Camp Trill (Soulection/Brownies & Lemonade), Mad Decent Block Party, Trillectro and more.
FKi stands for Fuckin Kickin It and started as an Atlanta based production team. Their sound was first heard heavily on their mixtape Transformers In The Hood. TNTH was presented by international DJ and Mad Decent curator, Diplo, garnered much deserved attention from electronic, hip-hop, and trap music followers throughout the US and abroad. The vast variety in genre caught the attention of top DJs like Flosstradamus, Kaskade, Borgore, DJ Sliink, and Flux Pavilion which led to numerous trap/EDM collaborations.
In 2016, 1st released his own EP «First Time For Everything» on Mad Decent and toured with Fetty Wap, Post Malone, Justin Bieber, Diplo and more. He was also executive producer of Post Malone's debut album «Stoney» that recently went platinum.
1st's next EP «First Time For Everything (Part 2)» is slated for release this Summer.
