Come join us for our first ever fundraiser, the Spirit of Girls! We'll meet the evening of Tuesday, June 20 at 'the classiest venue in Vancouver' — the TELUS Garden Rooftop. It will be an intimate gathering full of thoughtful conversations about the challenges and opportunities faced by tween girls, and the role that G Day can play in supporting them and their Champions. Check out the event page for more details and to register for the event. We hope you can join the party!
Funds raised at The Spirit of Girls will allow G Day’s parent organization, United Girls of the World, to continue to expand this unique programming to communities across Canada and beyond.
Please note that The Spirit of Girls is for adults (19 years of age and up). We've designed this event as an opportunity for adult Champions to support G Day (we love your girls: they can come to the next G Day!)
G Day is a community-based rite of passage celebration series for girls ages 10 to 12 that emphasizes connection, confidence and supportive family relationships at the key life transition between childhood and adolescence.
The G Day program was developed and is operated by United Girls of the World (UGW), a registered charity based in Vancouver BC. UGW’s purpose is to advance education by developing and providing workshops, seminars and other educational tools for girls and their families on issues affecting the well-being of girls.
If you are not able to attend the event, you are still warmly invited to make a tax-deductible donation in support of G Day, and/or to sponsor one or more girls to attend a future G Day event.
