Jim Deva Plaza
1200 Bute Street, Vancouver, British Columbia
It’s officially summer and that means our West End Games Night is going outdoors!

Join us in the Jim Deva Plaza for or a *FREE* games night, hosted by Young Ideas at Gordon Neighbourhood House. The event is a fun way to meet your neighbours, play board games, and jam to local musicians. We’ll have a jumbo Jenga set, Hex-a-pong (our six-person ping pong table), and dozens of games like: Ticket to Ride, Settlers of Catan, Cards Against Humanity, Citadel, Bang, and lots of classic party games.

Young Ideas is a volunteer group that hosts events for neighbours in their 20s and 30s who live, work, and hang in Vancouver's West End. We plan events as a way to meet neighbours and make new friends.

Join us, we're always looking for more help! If you are interested in volunteering for this event or joining our organizing committee, email [email protected] Our next meeting is on Tuesday, July 18th at the Cloud Nine revolving restaurant (before it's gone). Food is provided.

Funding for the West End Games Night is generously provided by the West End BIA.

Upcoming Events:
Bend & Breathe: Pay-what-you-can yoga class. 6:30-8:00pm every Tuesday from at Gordon Neighbourhood House

Cooking With: Monthly cooking class with Chef Peter. Learn how to cook with 7 other participants and then share a meal afterwards. Monday, July 24th at 6:30pm, SOLD OUT.

We acknowledge that we are on the unceded, occupied, ancestral and traditional lands of the Swxwú7mesh (Squamish), Xmkwym (Musqueam), and Slílwta (Tsleil-Waututh) nations. It is important for us to also recognize the historical and ongoing colonial genocide against Indigenous peoples that make it possible for us to be here as settlers.
