Mahony & Sons Stamps Landing
601 Stamps Landing, Vancouver, British Columbia V5Z 3Z1
Ahoy mate! The time has finally come for Captain Eric, First Mate Karoline and deckhand Kona to cast off and sail into the sunset… ola Mexico!
Please join us for a couple pints and some cheers at Mahoney and Son’s Stamps Landing on Thursday, July 27th at 4:30pm (or whenever you’re off work and/or available). We’ll be hanging out on the upstairs patio where libations and nibbles can be enjoyed. We’ll be there until dusk and truly hope to see as many of our friends as possible! After all, who knows when we will be back from our nautical adventure ;)
We are still planning some of the event logistics but hope to offer door prizes, games, raffle draws, and hopefully… a boat tour of Blackdragon (our 1988 34” Catalina that will be taking us around the world!) If anyone knows anyone who is able to support via prize donations, please send us a direct message. We are trying to fundraise some cash in hopes of purchasing some better filming equipment so we can share our journey with you all through Youtube! It’s going to be wiiiiiiilllddd!
Feel free to bring a friend or two, the more the merrier =)
— Skytrain to Olympic Village and take a little stroll towards False Creek
— Aquabus (for the full nautical experience of the evening)
With fair winds and gratitude,
Eric, Karoline & Kona
WAIT… WHAT… WHERE ARE YOU GOING?!
Oh man, where have you been! Eric and Karoline have been living on a sailboat for the past year and a bit while saving up, learning all things sailing, fixing up the boat, and all around preparing to sail the world. Our adventure heads south at the beginning of August where we will hit up the western coast of the USA. We then plan on participating in the Baja Ha Ha cruiser rally taking us from San Diego, to Turtle Bay, to Bahia Santa Maria and finally, Cabo San Lucas. Upon arrival, we will determine our next destination: South America? The South Pacific (Galapagos, Marquesas, the French Polynesian islands like Fiji, Bora Bora, Tonga, etc...), the Carribean, or maybe back home?! Who knows! We will be documenting the adventures via social media channels and a Youtube channel.
