Dayglo Abortions
Canadian punk band from Victoria, British Columbia. The band was formed in 1979 and released their first album, “Out of the Womb” in 1981.
In 2016 the Dayglos released their latest album “Armaggedon Survival Guide”, which offers «unique blend of catchy punk rock, heavy metal, comical humour, and pissed off political rhetoric, with lyrical content that challenges and disputes the verities of modern life»

TERRIFIER is a thrash metal onslaught hailing from Vancouver, BC, Canada by way of Kelowna BC. Originally known as Skullhammer, Terrifier released their debut album ‘Destroyers of the Faith’ back in 2012 and the “Metal Or Death” EP in 2013. Their latest album, “Weapons of Thrash Destruction” was just released last month on Test Your Metal Records. This is well-executed, high-energy, beer-drinking, fun-thrashing metal at its finest!
“Terrifier’s Weapons of Thrash Destruction definitely earns the title of Best in Class” (Score: 9/10) – Metal Observer

Obsidian a multinational metal band, having members hailing from France, Germany and Canada, currently making Vancouver, B.C. their home base. Obsidian melds aggression, groove and melodic hooks in their riff tight metal assault!
The band has two albums on their collection: Time Erodes (2015) and their latest album Into Oblivion (2016). Into Oblivion showcased the same groove and intensity as Time Erodes, but began to expand into more melodic themes within their songwriting and production. Moving in more f an industrial/Metal feel, but keeping their original metal sound fully intact. With the writing of their third album well under way, you’ll be hearing more from Obsidian this year!

Hello friends. Many of you had inquired about a cruise for this year. I mentioned to those that asked that we would not be holding a cruise this year and wait for next year.
Even when this project has consistently been losing money all three years, I was always happy to make it happen because it it is a really enjoyable experience. But at the last one it even felt like it lost a little bit of momentum, and even with the Cariboo Brewery Sponsorship we had quite a loss. This is why I thought it would be best to skip 2017 and come back 2018 with a renewed energy.
But now, at this moment we have the opportunity now to do a Metal Cruise on THIS Friday, August 4th, 2017 as the boat is available and is being offered by the Cruise company with a reduced rate. It would be a reduced cruise for 3 hours: Board at 5pm sail from 6pm to 9pm. If we do this I would enable presales and hope to have 150 presales (at $40) by July 28. If we don’t reach them we could still cancel and get full refund including fees. I’m ok with losing any promotion expenses from my pocket.
I would like to know what you guys think about this right now, if you think it is a good idea, if we can reach the 150 people … or if we should just wait until 2018!
UPDATE: We have enabled presales. Please go ahead and grab your ticket. We need 150 sold by July 28. If we don't make it you will receive an automatic refund including all service fees, so nothing to lose. Please tell your friends!
