• The tournament will take place on September 3rd-4th, 2017, at Milk & Sugar Café.
• $60 per team of 4 ($15/player); sign up in person at Milk & Sugar Café.
• Teams that have played in the previous tournament (#1) but did not place 1st, 2nd, or 3rd, will get a discount of $5/player. Each individual member may form a new team, but is encouraged to play as the same team ($40 per team if playing as the same team).
• Teams must sign up on or before August 22nd for the above entry fees. Sign-ups after this date will be $5 extra per player ($20 extra per team).
• 1st prize = $400 cash
• 2nd prize = $200 cash
• 3rd prize = $80 cash
• 4th prize = $40 cash + 4 free bubble teas, any flavour
• 16 (minimum) to 32 (maximum) teams of 4 players per team total
• All participants will receive one bubble tea drink of their own choice.
• 4 vs. 4 team battle; 8 player Smash mode; 5 stock lives per teammate
• Custom fighters, Mii fighters, and Amiibo are prohibited
• Handicap off; launch rate 1.0x
• All non-custom stages are permitted except for Miiverse. If both teams do not agree to the same stage, then random is picked.
• 12 minute stock time limit per match
• Team attack (friendly fire) is ON
• Pause function is on, but pausing can only be done if there is a controller malfunction (out of batteries, button mashed/stuck, spilled water on the controller, etc.). Whichever team made the pause will cause the match to be restarted, but the other team will choose the stage.
• Score display off; damage display on; SD penalty minus one (-1)
• Items are off, except for characters that can produce their own items.
• Sharing team stock lives is permitted.
• 4 GameCube controllers and 4 Wii Remotes with Nunchucks are provided at the tournament, but you may bring your own Nintendo manufactured controller if you wish (Wii U Gamepad is used by the tournament host’s team). If you are bringing GameCube controllers, please bring your own adaptor also.
• Stalling is banned.
• If the clock runs out and both teams have the same amount of stock lives, the lower sum between each team's damage percentage determines the winning team (KO'd teammates have 0% damage and 0 stock).
• A player may not sign up for more than one team.
• Any playing participant may be photographed for future tournament promotion purposes.
• The 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th prize team winners will be photographed with their prizes for future tournament promotion purposes.
• Tournament format: Double elimination; 2 losses results in the team’s elimination
