UBC Student Leadership Conference 2018: Create Momentum

As one of the largest student-run conferences in Canada, the SLC is an opportunity to explore your abilities, a hub for amazing individuals in the community, and a platform that inspires action.

What can you look forward to at the conference?
1200+ student delegates; hearing from inspiring Keynotes, Featured Presenters, and Panels; attending interactive Workshops and Learning Labs; and engaging with Living Libraries and other leaders in and around the community! With all these options, you can customize your schedule according to your passions and interests.

This year’s theme, Create Momentum, focuses on the idea that while you may feel small as a single individual, your impact need not be. Momentum inspires change — it begins with a single action, an idea, and the desire to grow outwards. While leadership may often be met with setbacks along the way, momentum means to keep pushing forward. You have the power to create momentum to positively influence yourself, people around you and your surroundings.
