Unveiling the Universe Lecture Series

 Facebook event page
Science World
1455 Quebec St., Vancouver, British Columbia V6A3Z7
Presented by TRIUMF and Science World.

When Carl Sagan famously said, «We are made of star stuff», he was completely correct. Within the heart of stars, elements — such as the oxygen we breathe and the carbon in our bodies — are all created. How exactly do we go from stardust to all of the elements in our universe? TRIUMF and Science World are partnering to bring back the Unveiling the Universe Lecture Series, in celebration of TRIUMF's 50th anniversary.

Join Dr. Reiner Kruecken, Deputy Director of TRIUMF, as he reveals what we know about our stellar origins, and how scientists at TRIUMF are trying to solve the mysteries that still remain.

Date: February 13, 2018

6pm — Doors open.
7pm — Lecture begins. Q&A to follow.

Tickets to this presentation are free, but seating is limited.
