Time to let your inner Italian shine and take your pasta-making skills to the next level with our Pasta Making Series!
Chef and Pasta Master Sergio Cinti will teach you all the secrets of egg pasta making. Originally from Bologna, the motherland of egg pasta, Sergio will share his knowledge with you and turn you into a pasta master. The series is made of 3 intimate and hands-on classes. In each class, you will make your own dough, learn how to stretch it using a pasta machine, how to cut it, shape it and fill it. At the end of each class, you will also taste the pasta you made. There will also be some pasta to bring home.
Bring an apron, a clean container, and an appetite. Feel free to bring a bottle of wine.
March 26th: Pasta Sfoglia and tagliatelle. In this class, you will learn the basics of the perfect egg pasta dough (called pasta sfoglia in Italian), how to make a colored pasta and how to make tagliatelle and other kinds of long pasta.
April 9th: Pasta ripiena (stuffed pasta). In this class, you will learn how to make different shapes and variety of pasta ripiena, like ravioli or tortelloni. You will learn how to make the perfect dough for stuffed pasta and the different stuffings to fill it.
April 23rd: Tortellini & passatelli, or bone broth soup pasta. In this class you will learn how to make tortellini and passatelli, typically served in a bone broth soup. You will also learn how to make the perfect bone broth.
