Join us for an energizing, relaxing yoga practice as you take in views of VanDusen Garden from our beautiful classroom. The first portion of class moves you through a gentle flow of active, dynamic postures that work your muscles and get blood flowing. We will then wind down to a slower pace, holding posture to help nourish your joints, relax your mind and release tension. Appropriate for beginners or experienced students looking for a new approach to their practice.
About the Instructor:
Timothy Martin (Timothy Bang Yoga) leads his classes from a place for both the light and dark aspects of yoga. He holds space for students to reconnect with their bodies on a deeper level than just only the mechanical with a focus on looking inward for answers. A colourful, vibrant personality you will find that Tim redefines what students think a yoga class, a yoga student and a yoga teacher should be. He meets students where they are and encourages acceptance and love through each and every breath.
Drop in fees: Member $18 / Non-member $20
Purchase a MultiPass and save! Choose from 6 or 12 classes in a pass and attend whenever your schedule allows, without missing classes due to illness or holidays. 6-class passes start at $90 for VBGA members, $100 for non-members.
Bring your own yoga mat. Some props are available, however you are welcome to bring any you like to use, and a light blanket or towel. NO CLASSES on April 30 & May 21
