Kristina Emmott, also known under the stage name «willolux», blends nostalgic indie-folk with modern dream pop to create lush, cinematic compositions. Her piano-driven whimsical songs recall the intimate, personal works of singer/songwriters Tori Amos and Regina Spektor, and her indie-pop rock vibe is reminiscent of confessional indie-rock heroines Neko Case an...d Jenny Lewis. After releasing her debut album, «Thread & Tape», in June 2017 to critical acclaim, she has been hard at working creating the follow-up album, due late 2018. She will be performing with a full band at Park Sound!
Singer-songwriter Cara Bateman’s voice is a powerful rock-gospel fusion. Her songs are gritty, soulful, and infectious, and her raspy vocals hugely captivating. Though she stands small, her voice is bold and intoxicating – often towering over her tiny stature.
Over the years, Cara has worked hard at honing her craft and developing a distinct sound. In 2016, she released her debut EP, “First Songs,” a three-song country/blues recording. Following this release, Cara craved a change of scenery and a change of pace. To shake things up, she traveled Europe extensively and eventually relocated from her longtime home of Victoria to a new one in Vancouver, BC. In September of 2017, Cara completed a successful Western Canadian Tour alongside fellow musician Abraham. Most recently, she toured as the opening act for Dashboard Confessional and The Elwins for the BC leg of their tour. This year of travel, shows, and a switch to electric guitar has inspired many new songs and a darker, grittier sound.
5'11", 130 lbs, and eyes like his father. Meet Katlin Mathison — otherwise known as Okay Mann. Katlin upholds the indie-folk tradition of the rolling stone. 4 years of session work, relentless travel, and a mentorship with Paul McCartney, and a gold single in Norway have eventually led him back to the harsh winters of Manitoba, Canada. Fresh off the release of 'Little Mersey', Okay Mann's lo-fi folk rock debut, Okay Mann is hitting the road with a suitcase full of songs about traveling for love and a love of traveling. Its been a tough year, but hes Okay Mann.
